St Kilda Ferry commenced service in 2016 when our vessel, The Coastal Flyer took its maiden voyage across Port Phillip Bay. Since then our services have grown in popularity, and we have continually adjusted our service to make sure we are offering the best value services to our passengers. In early 2018, we added a stop at Beacon Cove, Port Melbourne, to our schedule which has proven to be a popular spot with the connection to the 109 Tram which is a short 10 minutes ride to the city making it the fasted route Williamstown to the city beating the car and the train.

Check out our Timetable page for the latest updated schedule.

The Coastal Flyer departs from Gem Pier when leaving Williamstown, Beacon Cove when leaving Port Melbourne and from St Kilda Pier when departing St Kilda.

To add fun and flexibility to your outing, our vessel also has the capacity to carry bicycles. If you are planning to travel on the ferry with your bike, you will need to book over the phone to so we can ensure there is space for you. We can take a maximum of 4 bikes per trip.

We specialise in group bookings, so you are very welcome to contact us to help plan your group’s day out.
