The St Kilda ferry is offering two New Years eve cruises departing from Gem pier, Williamstown.
One earlier cruise within Port Phillip bay and one late cruise into docklands to see the midnight fireworks.
See options below
OPTION 1
NEW YEARS EVE SUNSET FIREWORKS CRUISE🌅🎇🎆
Boarding: 8:15pm
Departing: 8:30pm sharp.
Disembarking:
10pm - Gem Pier (Williamstown)
What’s the plan?
Depending on the weather conditions on the day we plan to head over to St Kilda as the sun sets to catch some of the famous penguins as they come home to sleep in the St Kilda Piers’s rock wall.
We will then head back out into the bay to get a nice view of the 9:30pm fireworks from a distance. If the winds are too high, we’ll head up the river towards the city for a view of the commercial port and hopefully catch the 9:30pm fireworks from there.
OPTION 2
Docklands fireworks cruise 🌅🎇🎆
Boarding:
10:45pm - Gem Pier (Williamstown)
Departing:
11pm sharp- Heading to Docklands
Disembarking:
1am - Gem Pier (Williamstown)
So whats the plan?
Departing at 11pm we will cruise up the Yarra river, under the Westgate bridge, past the commercial port up into Victoria Harbour, Docklands! This is where the magic happens.
We welcome in the new year here on the water at midnight when the magnificent fireworks display begins.
Once they’ve finished we’ll head back down the Yarra and through the commercial port with a plan to disembark right on 1am back at Gem Pier Williamstown.
